The homeowner wanted to change his cramped, outdated bathroom into something more modern and spacious to match the rest of his renovated 1960's ranch home. Faced with the challenge of creating a comfortable bathroom within the existing space, we incorporated an existing hall closet into the bathroom design and built a closet in the bathroom using the space from an adjacent bedroom. To add more light to the room we used a clear glass shower door and replaced the existing window with a much larger glass block window. A custom storage cabinet, compact toilet, compact vanity and pocket door were used to conserve space. To achieve the contemporary look the client desired, straight clean lines were used on everything from the grey slate on the floors and walls to the chrome hardware and fixtures.
